1. LATATA (i-dle ver.)

   The title track “LATATA” is a Moombahton song characterized by a calm yet passionate beat and an earworm chorus. Its most distinctive features are the pluck-style synth lines and the sampled vocals of each member, which serve as key listening points. This track allows (G)I-DLE to showcase each member’s unique charm to the fullest. The playful onomatopoeia “LATATA” represents the excitement of falling in love and wanting to dance the night away.

2. Han (一) (i-dle ver.)

   Following “LATATA,” “Han” continues the Moombahton influence but is based on a house beat. Written by member Soyeon, this song expresses feelings of betrayal, heartbreak, and loneliness through the multilayered meaning of the word “Han” (한). From its very first note, Minnie’s unique whistle sound commands attention and creates a cool, haunting atmosphere that leaves a strong impression. A heavy, steady drumbeat grounds the song, while the compelling organ tones guide its overall dreamy and mystical vibe. Layers of traditional folk instrument samples provide texture, blending seamlessly with the members’ vocals. Just as the characters once danced passionately for their loved one, the lyrics here proclaim a bold, unbroken attitude despite the pain of separation. As if casting a spell, listeners will find themselves captivated by the repeated vow to “make you forget.”

3. Senorita (i-dle ver.)

   “Senorita” is a dance-pop track that builds an emotional yet fiery atmosphere through unplugged bass guitar, piano, and brass instrumentation. The song’s exotic flair is amplified by Brazilian broadcaster Carlos Gorito, who recorded the Spanish-language chorus to convey that language’s characteristic intensity. The confident lyrics detail the rush of attraction at first sight, and (G)I-DLE’s enriched vocal tones blend perfectly with the song’s passionate energy.

4. Uh-Oh (i-dle ver.)

   The phrase “uh-oh” typically pops out when someone feels awkward or caught off guard—here, it’s used to deftly diss those who feign closeness only after noticing success. This track is a newtro boom-bap piece produced and written by leader Soyeon, who had already delivered three consecutive hits with “LATATA,” “Han,” and “Senorita.” In true (G)I-DLE fashion, she reinvents ’90s boom-bap for a girl group, an uncommon genre choice. Built on an old-school drum loop that makes you nod along, “Uh-Oh” features a deep, punchy bass line, classic piano, strings, and analog synthesizer sounds. The members’ vocal scratches emphasize the authentic hip-hop flavor and flair.

5. Oh My God (i-dle ver.)

   Centered on the theme “I believe in myself,” “Oh My God” is an urban hip-hop track distinguished by bold rhythmic changes throughout. A vintage piano and booming 808 bass underpin a dreamlike atmosphere, punctuated by a powerful soundscape that only (G)I-DLE can deliver.

6. LION (i-dle ver.)

   Unshaken by any doubt or criticism, this song proclaims, “I believe in myself and will rise to the top.” “LION” features imposing drum patterns and 808 bass sounds, crafted with Soyeon’s signature genre-defying sensibility. Comparing herself to a lion, Soyeon’s lyrics convey the regal dignity and charisma of a born “Queen.” The words vividly detail every battle, sacrifice, and scar endured to claim and defend the throne—both ferocious and majestic, fierce and sacred.

7. i’M THE TREND (i-dle ver.)

   Written by Minnie and Yuqi with fans in mind (the fandom name Neverland), “i’M THE TREND” cleverly references (G)I-DLE’s signature tracks—“Oh My God,” “Blow Your Mind,” “LATATA,” “LION,” and “Uh-Oh”—as lyrical hooks. The song encapsulates the group’s bold confidence and lively charm in a uniquely (G)I-DLE way.

8. DUMDi DUMDi (덤디덤디) (i-dle ver.)

   With a tropical base and Moombahton rhythms, “DUMDi DUMDi” is (G)I-DLE’s special summer dance song. Evoking sensations of heat, coolness, passion, and excitement—hues of summer and youth—the straightforward, honest lyrics pair with a catchy melody to create a signature (G)I-DLE summer anthem that beats the heat.

9. Hwa (火花) (i-dle ver.)

   This Moombahton track blends wintry chill with Eastern instrumentation to convey the icy pain of farewell. Using “Hwa” (literally “fire flower”) as a layered motif, the lyrics and addictive hook paint a vivid picture of post-breakup emotions.

   “Stoke a fire in my frozen winter heart. Melt away this cold and welcome spring so that flowers can bloom.”
